learn about Christian Science
if you are in need of healing

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

                Psalms 133: 1

Our Church is one of many worldwide branches of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts.  Christian Science was founded in 1879 by Mary Baker Eddy,  "to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing."

Church Services are held every Sunday morning at 10 a.m.  The service, led by lay members of the church, is a quiet time to commune with God and includes readings from the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.  Music includes a solo and communal singing from the hymnal.

Sunday School for students up to the age of 20 is held at the same time.  Students learn the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, the Lord's Prayer, Christ Jesus' Sermon on the Mount and other healing truths.

Child Care is available for those too young to attend Sunday School.

Testimony Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.  The first half of the service consists of readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures on a topic of interest, followed by a half-hour of gratitude, inspiration and remarks on healing from members and friends.

A Reading Room, a peaceful place for prayer and study, is provided for our community.  Bible reference materials, and authorized Christian Science literature, including Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the Christian Science Sentinel and Journal are available to borrow or purchase.  The Reading Room, located at the entrance to the church, is open each Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and following every service.
